Frequently asked Questions (FAQ) When Selling Equipment to us

1. Do you give free Quotes?

Yes - A Buyer will visit you to stock take and inspect the items if required. All Quotes include GST.

2. Do you give individual item pricing?

No - The reason for this is we are not valuers. You will need a “Licensed Valuer” for that. Our quotes & Prices are based on the popularity for the item not a percentage of what you paid for it. We also factor in on the entire quote some of our “costs of purchase” such as transport, dismantling and ease of pickup etc.

3. Do we dismantle and pick up?

Yes - Most of the quotes we do include dismantling and pickup and removal. If this is not so you will be advised.

4. How do you pay us?

Basically any way you wish on the day of completion of pickup. We can pay by Company Cheque, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), Cash or Bank Cheque. We do not like to give our “Pick Up Team” large amounts of Cash.

5. Safety?

Our “Pick Up” personal have “Blue Cards”, Hi-Vis Vests, Steel Cap Boots, Hard Hats, and any other Safety Equipment the job may require.

6. Insurance?

ABSOE Pty Ltd has “Third Party Property” and “Public Liability”.

7. Will you take the items of no value away?

It depends on what we buy from you. If the bulk of the quote (80%) is of value – yes. However if we see no value in most of the items we may offer you a price on only the items we want. We like to help where we can.

8. What percentage of the original price would you give us?

There is no way of telling over all. As previously mentioned in Question two it depends on a number of factors. i.e. Popularity, difficulty in removal, etc. It is best to get a quote.
